Batik Demonstration at SMU Arts Festival RE:PRESENT

The Singapore Management University (SMU) held their arts festival recently. The community of Indonesian students who call themselves SMUKI – short for SMU Komunitas Indonesia engaged us to conduct our Batik workshop. It was a fun and engaging experience to these Indonesians to be introduced to their national heritage. Most of them came dressed in their fine batiks which adds to the festive atmosphere.
